How information is used when you request a quote, place an order, or contact BuildplateCo.
Information you provide
We store the contact details, uploaded files, quote settings, delivery address, order details, and support messages you submit. Account information connects your saved files, quotes, orders, and support history.
How it supports your order
This information is used to prepare quotes, review and manufacture parts, take payment, arrange delivery, and respond to support requests. Staff responsible for these activities can access the relevant records.
Service providers
Stripe handles secure payment details. BuildplateCo stores payment references and order status; card fields are provided by Stripe. Delivery information is used with shipping services, including USPS where offered. Hosting and email providers support the operation of the service.
Cookies and measurement
Session and security cookies keep sign-in, checkout, and request protection working. Browser storage can restore a quote workspace and remember marketing attribution. Where Google Analytics or Google Ads is enabled, visits and actions such as quote starts and purchases may be sent to Google for measurement. Your browser can clear site data or block optional tracking; blocking all storage may affect sign-in and quote recovery.
Access, corrections, and deletion requests
Use account settings to update your details. Contact us through the help form to request access, corrections, or deletion of other information. Include the relevant account or order reference. We may need to verify ownership before acting on the request.
Stored records
Files and transaction records are retained to support quoting, fulfillment, support, and repeat orders. Archiving a saved file hides it from your active library; it does not delete its contents or order references. Contact us if you need a file removed or have a specific retention requirement.
